World Day for Reducing CO2 Emissions

28th January

The need to implement a day dedicated to this cause is due to the fact that the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has reached an all-time high today, giving rise to a worrying situation for which a solution must be found. As a result, the United Nations have designated the 28th of January as the World Day for Reducing CO₂ Emissions.

This day was created with one main objective: to reduce the CO₂ emissions we emit into the atmosphere. It also has other secondary objectives, such as disseminating environmental education in order to raise public awareness of the importance of combating climate change and taking all the necessary measures that are in our hands to prevent it from continuing.

In addition, it seeks to promote policies that ensure the reduction of emissions, such as investment in clean and renewable energy.
