World Animal Day
4th October ...
28th July
World Nature Conservation Day has a particular significance and it was created to acknowledge and stress that a healthy environment is of paramount importance for a stable and healthy society, and it is celebrated on July 28th each year. There is a strong need to act now to ensure the well-being of the present and future generations. And we all, as hinabitant of this unique planet, must participate in protecting and conserving our environemtn and nature in a responsible manner and stop exploiting our planet irresponsably.
This particular Day encourages people to save and protect Earth’s natural resources, and change our behaviour to creade a sustainable development and to pose an halt to the degradation of our environment.
World Nature Conservation Day is also intended to educate people about the best practices to protect our natural resources, in fact Earth has only a limited amount of resources left, and we hugely rely on those resources for our sustainance. These elements are fresh water, air, soil and forests, and we should act responsibility in order to preserve them. This Day is closely related to World Enviroment Day (5th June) which has a more official tenure because it is backed by the UN.
